During May 2-13, 2022, COERR Kanchanaburi organized a learning activity for 170 children and youth in Ban Tham Hin Temporary Shelter, Ratchaburi Province’s Suan Phueng District. The program included practicing of reading and writing letters, vowels and pronunciation in the Karen and English languages; as well as singing; Bible verses recitation competition and awareness of Basic Child Rights for children and youth, to enhance their memory, knowledge, understanding and leadership skills.

   The language learning, bible study and leadership training were the integration of the School break activities and Sunday School Program. Team of Tham Hin Church’s catechists worked in coordination with COERR project staff and camp-based refugee staff, offer contents of each subject that was designed for the mutual benefit of interested participants.
